Moon Walk is the Public Relations division within Publicis Machine, specialising in strategically led public relations across multiple platforms. We have a variety of blue chip clients and offer both consumer and business to business PR.

Moon Walk is looking for an experienced Account Director to join a talented crew, who will actively contribute towards growing the agency into an award winning and reputable PR organization.

Job Description:
The Account Director will oversee all client management teams, and report into the Head of PR. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the formulation of PR strategies, overseeing the execution of well conceptualised PR campaigns, ensuring overall quality and frequency of relevant deliverables. The Account Director will assist in management of the commercials of the PR business, and ensure all work is delivered within budget, and within the stipulated deadline. Moon Walk operates in an integrated agency environment - previous experience in an integrated environment is preferable.


Requirements
o Relevant PR tertiary/communications qualification
o 6 years plus of experience in PR agency
o Solid understanding of the South Africa media and Influencer landscape
o Computer literate, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
o Strong writing, communication and admin skills
o Confident individual with excellent presentation skills
o An excellent grasp of the English language
o Excellent editing and proof checking abilities
o Must be able to work well in a team
o Excellent problem solving skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

o Manage Moon Walk overall client portfolio - key client contact.
o Manage and grow business on existing and new clients
o Develop and manage teams responsible for all retainer and project clients. This includes oversight of strategy and driving the implementation on time and within budget.
o Ensuring client teams are abreast of all relevant channels (media and influencer) and opportunities therein.
o Ensure teams operate on time and on budget whilst ensuring accurate & timeous timekeeping
o Drive innovative thinking in order to deliver benchmark PR thinking across all clients
o Ensuring you have visibility of client health across all accounts and proactively managing client expectations.
o Grow team culture and synergy with a management style that rewards performance and team effort
o Facilitate problem solving

" Reconciliation and tracking of monthly revenue by client from rewards and loyalty campaigns
" Cash flow management of the Incentiv business
" Improve and maintain rewards inventory records to ensure the integrity and accuracy thereof.
" Coordinate with the Client Service and Call Centre teams to ensure records related to inventory are properly maintained.
" Manage the process around the purchase of, and control over, rewards inventory, reconciliations of rewards usage, billings to clients and job margins
" Report the Inventory balances and allocations to jobs - Investigate, Resolve and Report shortfalls and surplus inventory and margin variances
" Monitor and evaluate job cost allocations and margins.
" Produce weekly inventory reports and ensure critical areas in inventory records are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
" Provide detailed analysis of all margins by job and by client
" Reconcile and calculate quarterly sales commissions for commission earning resources
